Xiaomi sells 10 million units of Redmi Note 7 across the globe

Xiaomi sells 10 million units of Redmi Note 7 across the globe, in just 129 days! Before the Redmi K20 was launched last month, Xiaomi had informed its fans and the world of an interesting milestone which it had reached for the Redmi Note 7 series. Xiaomi reached 10 million sales around the world of the Redmi Note 7 series, and it managed to do it in just 129 days.

Redmi Note 7 is the latest and the most powerful version of Redmi Note series, it features a 48MP rear camera, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE SoC and a 4000mAh large battery. It also supports front and rear 2.5D glass panels, a 6.3-inch 19.5:9 FHD+ display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Interestingly, the Redmi Note 7 is also making sales in Nigeria through its partner site – Jumia and retail outlets and this is after xiaomi had officially launched in Nigeria.

Xiaomi co-founder Lei Jun shared the good news on Weibo, later followed by photos sharing a celebratory cake with all the key executives of the company and its sub-brand.

Jun said the milestone is a victory and a testament of “holding Xiaomi values, such as high quality and value for your money”.

The Redmi Note 7 series includes three phones on paper – Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro. The differences between the first two are scarce, although there are some – market availability and storage options. The Note 7 Pro, however, comes with a mightier chipset and a proper 48 MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor.
