Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Price in Nigeria
Mi A2 Lite Review and Price in Nigeria: It’s been almost twelve(12) months since the Mi A2 Lite or Redmi 6 pro was released and Xiaomi wanted to expand its reach in the global market by releasing the Mi A2 Lite and this particular model will come without Xiaomi’s MIUI.
Here’s my Mi A2 Lite review after spending barely two (2) weeks with it plus the current price of the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite in Nigeria.
Quick Overview of the Mi A2 Lite
The Mi A2 Lite design is somewhat similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 8 design. The front of the case is made of scratch-resistant 2.5D display glass, which transitions into the 8.75-millimeter metal frame in a slight curve. The 5.84-inch IPS display is framed by narrow bezels at the sides.
Inside the display notch are the earpiece grille, the 5MP selfie camera, and a couple of sensors. The front camera wouldn’t be as good as that on the Mi A2 but it allows for HDR and 1080p videos.
I personally would say that the build and material quality are on a really high level for a phone of this price range.
The notched screen with minimal bezels for me was one of the phones best attributes. It comes with a screen size of 5.84″ and has a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels (432 ppi). This is arguably very similar to the specs of the screen on the Huawei P20 Lite.
Xiaomi hasn’t really specified the type of glass used on the screen, so I can’t say for sure if it’s a corning gorilla glass 3 or 4 or 5. The Mi A2 Lite display has a maximum brightness of 488 nits which is close to the promised 500 nits.
The Mi A2 Lite is powered by a large 4,000mAh sealed battery – as seen on the successful Redmi Note 7/Pro and many Redmi Notes. The Mi A2 Lite has the same energy-efficient Snapdragon 625 chip as the Mi A1.
The main camera on the Mi A2 Lite has two lenses with an open aperture of f/2.2 and a phase detection auto-focus. The 12MP (Sony IMX486) image sensor has a resolution of 4032 x 3016 in the 4:3 format, while the second camera sensor (Samsung S5K5E8) has a resolution of 5 MP.
The Mi A2 Lite comes with Snapdragon 625’s DSP which does support 4K video recording, which surprisingly is not available on the Mi A2 Lite.
For the four available 4G bands, three are compatible. For the one available 3G band, it’s compatible. For the two available 2G bands, both are compatible.

The Mi A2 lite is exclusively available on Xiaomi’s partner site – Jumia in Nigeria. The Mi A2 Lite price varies slightly due to color as well as storage variants.
The current price of the Mi A2 Lite in Nigeria is within the price range of 49,000 naira and 56,000 naira. Click to buy Mi A2 Lite on Jumia
Ultimately, the Mi A2 Lite has a very good IPS display with very stable viewing angles. An appealing camera, fast eMMC storage, long battery life are some of the strengths of this phone as well as the fast fingerprint scanner. When you look at the Mi A2 Lite price in Nigeria, the aesthetics are okay plus it’s a good option for people that want to use or prefer using a Xiaomi phone without MIUI (stock android).
